We're Happy to Have You!
Whether you're seeking a new "church home” or just curious, you are very much welcome at New Covenant. The steps below are intended to take some of the mystery out of attended NCC for the first time.
Steps to Visiting on Sunday
1. Fellowship time and Church Sevice
There is one worship service at 10:00am. We have a Fellowship time starting at 9:30. Come early for hot coffee and warm friendships. On your first visit, it’s best to arrive about 10 minutes early (to get some coffee and find a seat), or 15 minutes early if you need time to find your children’s classroom locations. Programs for children are available at 10:00 a.m. services. Various Adult Connect Groups also meet before and during the week.
2. Arrive and Get Parked
We are a single-campus church with two buildings. The eastern most building is the children and student ministries building (they've named it "The Warehouse"). The building to the west is the Worship Center building and contains the chapel, "The Upper Room", and childcare rooms for infants and toddlers through 3 years of age. Park close to the worship center and proceed to the Worship Center foyer.
3. Find a Place for Yourself and Your Kids
Once you enter the Worship Center foyer, look for the men and women wearing "How May I Help You?" badges. They are greeter guides and will help you and your children get settled in. Also, Welcome Center volunteers are ready to answer your questions before, between, and after each service. Just look for them behind the counter in the foyer.
4. Celebrate Through Worship
Greeters will welcome you into the worship center and give you a program outlining the service. Toward the beginning of the service, everyone is invited to stand and greet one another. You will not be singled out as a visitor. Biblical teaching, prayer, and music, are key components of a normal worship service at New Covenant. On a regular basis, we will celebrate communion (~8 times per year), baptism (~ 2 times per year), and baby dedications (~ 2 times per year). Other special services are also scheduled throughout the year, coinciding with holidays and other special occasions.
5. May We Help You?
If you would like to talk about a personal concern or something you heard in the service, we'd be happy to meet with you in our prayer room after the service. It is located through the door to the left of the stage in the worship center. The men and women there have been trained to listen and encourage, and they are eager to help. They are also happy to pray with you.
Still Not Sure About Visiting?
We'd be happy to answer those questions that you still have. Please call us at the church at 505-857-9875.
