Rancho 3M (Mexico Multiple Missions, Inc.) is a Christian Orphanage and School dedicated to and existing for the glory of God Almighty. Their vision is to see the children at the ranch living in obedience to the calling of Jesus Christ in their lives in order to fulfill what He has called them to do. This vision can only be accomplished by the life-changing grace of God. The staff at the ranch are dependent on the Lord Jesus Christ as they train up and disciple the children in the ways of God. They desire to see the children go out with sound doctrine to advance the Kingdom of God in Mexico through the local church.
Twice each year we make the short trip (4-4 ½ hours) to the ranch to assist the staff there in a variety of ways. Most of our work involves helping to maintain the facilities of the ranch and includes things like light construction, painting, tile work, framing, building repairs and general cleaning. We time our trips in the Spring and Fall so that we can help with seasonal swamp cooler work, everything from replacing pads and cleaning coolers to replacing and installing new units.
Perhaps the most important thing we do at the ranch is to interact with the children who live there. We are encouraged by the staff at the ranch to engage the children at every opportunity and just plain have fun with them. In this way we are able to share the love of Christ with them and let them know how important they are to Him and to us. The only requirement is a heart filled with God’s love. Spending time with the children is always a highlight of our time there.
